Ichigo - is it his first name? or surname? i get confused all the time =…[
and another question - why are the series called “Bleach”??
I havent noticed any character with that name\nickname..

Ichigo is his first name. It’s after his last because of, I guess, Japanese tradition. For example, Rukia and Byakuya have the same last name, Kuchiki.

Bleach is supposed to mean to cleanse or purify, I believe.

It is part of their language. Japanese and even Chinese use the family name first, then the first name. Maybe it made it easier when they were clans and such.

i think its also called bleach cause if you watch some of the earlyer episodes people don’t like ichigo cause his hair difrent and he never BLEACHED it so yeah thats honestly why its called bleach
